Metaobject definitions after uninstall
Why metaobject definitions can remain
When you uninstall FoxSell Bundles Plus, the app immediately loses access to your Shopify store. Because of that, FoxSell can’t automatically delete Shopify resources (like metaobject definitions) after the uninstall is complete.
How to get the metaobject definitions removed
To allow our team to remove the remaining metaobject definitions, you’ll need to temporarily reinstall the app so it can access your store again.
From your Shopify admin, reinstall FoxSell Bundles Plus (Apps → search for the app, then install).
Open the app and proceed through the setup flow until you reach the pricing/plan step (if your store shows a plan selection screen). You don’t need to start selling bundles—this is only to restore access so a cleanup can be run.
Inside FoxSell Bundles Plus, use the live chat widget (chat bubble) and ask support to remove the app’s metaobject definitions from your store.
If you can’t access chat, email [email protected] from your store owner email and include your .myshopify.com domain.
Important notes before cleanup
Don’t manually delete metaobject definitions unless you’re sure they’re not used anywhere in your store. Removing definitions can also remove associated entries or break theme/app content that relies on them.
After support confirms completion, go to Shopify admin → Content → Metaobjects and check that the FoxSell-related definitions are no longer listed.
No. Once support finishes the cleanup and you’ve confirmed the metaobject definitions are removed, you can uninstall FoxSell Bundles Plus again.
